Our Approach

How We Structure Care

Every family's situation is different. Some need full-time residential support. Others are looking for help during the working week so that they can care for their loved one on weekends. And some simply want regular, meaningful daytime engagement. At Fieldstone, we offer three distinct programmes β€” each with its own rhythm, staffing, and purpose β€” so families can choose an arrangement that reflects their actual circumstances.

Garden View Residential Care

A full-time care arrangement where your loved one lives at Fieldstone and receives daily health support, communal meals, and access to our garden terraces. The rhythm of each day is calm and predictable β€” morning health checks, shared meals with seasonal menus, afternoon recreation, and evening relaxation. Each room faces a green outlook and is equipped with adjustable furnishings.

  • Comprehensive personal care and medication management
  • Coordination with visiting medical professionals
  • Sheltered outdoor areas with seated walkways and sensory beds
  • 24-hour on-site nursing staff
  • Garden-facing rooms with adjustable furnishings

Midweek Respite Stay

A short-stay option running Monday to Friday, designed for families where the main caregiver works during the week but is present at weekends. Your loved one is welcomed on Monday morning and returns home on Friday afternoon, receiving all meals, personal care, and weekday activity programming. The intake process is completed once, and subsequent stays follow the established care brief. Frequency is flexible β€” weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.

  • One-time intake assessment for recurring stays
  • Full weekday meals and personal care included
  • Activity programming during weekday hours
  • Adjustable frequency to suit changing needs

Nature Craft Day Programme

A three-day-per-week daytime programme that blends nature-based crafts with gentle outdoor activity. Sessions begin with a short walk or seated garden observation, followed by a facilitated craft project β€” pressed leaf art, seed mosaics, driftwood assemblages, or herbal sachets. A seasonal midday meal is included. The programme is designed to engage the senses, encourage creative expression, and foster a connection to the natural world.

  • Three sessions per week with nature-themed activities
  • Outdoor walks and group discussions
  • All craft materials, tools, and midday meal provided
  • Staff assistance available throughout each session
