1. Definitions

"Service" refers to the elderly care programmes and related services offered by Fieldstone, including residential care, respite stays, and day programmes. "User" or "You" refers to any individual who visits our website, submits a form, or uses our services. "We", "Us", or "Our" refers to Fieldstone, located at 51 Bedok North Street 3, Singapore 469659. "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services. You must be at least 18 years of age to enter into this agreement or to submit information on behalf of a prospective resident.

3. Service Description

Fieldstone operates an elderly care home in Singapore offering three programmes: Garden View Residential Care (full-time), Midweek Respite Stay (Monday to Friday), and Nature Craft Day Programme (three days per week). Services are subject to availability, and placement depends on the outcome of a care assessment conducted by our nursing team.

4. Enquiries and Intake Process

Submitting an enquiry through our website does not constitute a binding agreement. The intake process includes a care needs assessment, a discussion of programme suitability, and a review of terms before any service agreement is signed. We reserve the right to decline a placement if our assessment indicates that we cannot meet the individual's care needs within our current capacity and expertise.

5. User Responsibilities

When using our website, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information in forms and enquiries. You agree not to misuse our website or attempt to access systems or data not intended for you. You agree not to submit content that is offensive, harmful, or violates the rights of others. When engaging our care services, families are expected to provide accurate medical histories, disclose known health conditions, and keep us informed of any changes to the resident's health or personal circumstances.

6. Payment Terms

Service fees are published on our website and confirmed during the intake process. Fees are payable monthly in advance for residential care and day programmes, and weekly in advance for respite stays. Payment may be made by bank transfer, GIRO, or other methods agreed upon during enrolment. Late payments may incur a reminder notice, and continued non-payment may result in a review of the service arrangement. We will always communicate with families before taking any action related to outstanding fees.

Fees may be adjusted periodically. We will provide at least 30 days' written notice of any fee changes.

7. Refund Policy

If a service is terminated by either party with appropriate notice, fees paid in advance for unused service days will be refunded on a pro-rata basis. The notice period is 14 days for respite and day programme arrangements, and 30 days for residential care. Refunds are typically processed within 14 business days of the termination date.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, design elements, and branding — is the property of Fieldstone and is protected under Singapore's intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we take all reasonable steps to provide high-quality care, we do not warrant specific health outcomes for any resident. Our services are provided on a reasonable-care basis, in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Fieldstone's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall be limited to the fees paid by the claimant in the six months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Disclaimers

The information on our website is provided for general informational purposes and should not be treated as medical advice. Families should consult with healthcare professionals regarding specific medical decisions. While we strive to keep website content accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that it is free of errors or omissions.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate a service arrangement by providing the applicable notice in writing (14 days for respite and day programmes, 30 days for residential care). Fieldstone may also terminate a service arrangement if we determine that we can no longer safely meet a resident's care needs, or in the event of a material breach of these terms. In all cases, we will work with the family to ensure a smooth transition.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. In the event of a dispute, we encourage families to first contact us directly to seek an informal resolution. If the matter cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to mediation under the Singapore Mediation Centre's rules before any formal legal proceedings are initiated. The courts of Singapore shall have jurisdiction over any legal proceedings arising from these terms.

13. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Fieldstone with respect to the use of our website. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect. Our failure to exercise any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right. We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms to another party, provided such party agrees to honour these terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
